About TJ

T.J. (1972) was born in San Luis Obispo, CA and grew up in San Luis and Santa Barbara counties. TJ now resides on Whidbey Island, WA. He is a father, author, photographer, lover of God, Country and his fellow man.

Multiple facets of his life have him looking for the deeper meanings to them. He uses this search to enrich his characters and to share his idiosyncratic views with others. Because he is a lover of storytelling, he uses writing as an avenue to relay principles and ideas he's passionate about. Freewill, choice, grace, self-reliance, apathy and injustice towards others are some concepts that are explored in his writings.

T.J. published "Some Sort of Stand of Wolves and Dogs," (2014) with UBS Press in paperback. He also published "Joy" (2016) "The Jacket" (2017) and other short stories marketed directly through Amazon. He is currently working on several more full-length novels as well as more short stories.
